Dear Readers,

As the Cyprus Turkish Journal of Psychiatry and Psychology, we are pleased to have published the March 2025 issue. The world has become increasingly complex. In addition to wars and conflicts, developing technology is rapidly making its way into human life. Artificial intelligence and the developing software technology that comes with it are causing humanity to live in a more technological world. Now, robots, flying cars, drones and all these developing technologies will play a more important role in our lives in the coming years as a reality of human life. The superiority that is tried to be achieved through wars with human power is now giving way to races in technology. Wars are economic wars, but economic wars are also becoming possible with software programs supported by artificial intelligence. In the future, this technological development will also lead to the formation of mental health specialists who integrate with robots and artificial intelligence. This situation seems to cause another debate. We do not know whether artificial intelligence and robots will be able to replace human experience and intuition. We will see in time to what extent all these developments will replace psychological support and therapies. However, I strongly believe that they cannot replace a very experienced and well-educated mental health specialist. There is an even greater need for well-equipped and experienced mental health specialists. Therefore, it will continue to be very important for mental health specialists to be well-educated and trained. Therefore, to provide this training more effectively, we should not replace mental health specialists with robots, but with a technology that uses robots to enable the training of mental health specialists. In our journal, we will pay attention to the scientific developments in the field of mental health and to the publication of scientific studies in which technology is actively involved. Our journal continues to be ranked first in the indexes with the widest network in the field of psychiatry and psychology in its local region, Cyprus. It continues to be one of the 9 Turkish psychiatry journals in Scimago and second in Clinical Psychology. In addition to our journal being listed in SCOPUS and Web of Science, we also expect to be listed in Tr Index. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the publication of the March 2025 issue of the Cyprus Turkish Journal of Psychiatry and Psychology.
