Abstract:

As the Cyprus Turkish Journal of Psychiatry and Psychology, we are happy to have published the June 2023 issue. The Covid-19 epidemic in recent years, earthquakes, wars and economic depressions have left humanity facing disasters. These disasters have not only caused humanity to experience physical difficulties, but also faced with a pandemic of mental illnesses. Many people started to have mental problems, mild cases got worse, and severe cases exploded and applied to mental health centers and specialists. Sufficiently trained and qualified specialists are needed. Qualified Mental Health Professionals are needed in order to cope with these disasters that humanity is facing. It is also necessary to increase the training of mental health specialists in order to make the mental health services of specialists working in the field of mental health more effective. Universities and scientific institutions also need to develop and increase educational standards by carrying out programmed scientific studies. Our journal, on the other hand, will continue to contribute to the development of needed mental health services. Our journal ranks first in the indexes with the widest network in the field of psychiatry and psychology in its local region, Cyprus. We are proud to be among 8 Turkish psychiatry journals in Scimago and in the first place among Turkish Leathers in Clinical Psychology. It is pleasing when the increasing interest in our journal is examined in terms of the number of downloads and readings. In this issue, we are very pleased to share articles with rich scientific knowledge with you. The fact that our journal is on the SCOPUS and Web of Science lists also reveals the importance of its existence. The journal articles continue to be indexed in the Emerging Source Citation Index in Web of Science. As the Cyprus Turkish Journal of Psychiatry and Psychology, we wish all our readers a good work and thank all the authors who contributed.
