The present study sought to examine the role of problem-solving skills as a mediator in the relationship between well-being and life satisfaction in adolescents. The participants were high school students in Anatolian High Schools in Sakarya province. The Well-Being Scale, the Multidimensional Student Satisfaction with Life Scale, and the Problem Solving Skills Inventory were utilised as data collection tools. The results indicated that male participants exhibited lower scores on the Well-Being Scale in comparison to their female counterparts. Conversely, male participants demonstrated higher Problem Solving Skills Inventory scores than their female counterparts. The study revealed a significant relationship between problem-solving skills, well-being and multidimensional student life satisfaction.
