Introduction: Internal psychological factors play a significant role in individual flourishing, particularly for those facing health challenges, where resilience becomes crucial for promoting sustained well-being. Resilience, defined as the ability to persevere and adapt in the face of adversity, is the central focus of this research. The study aims to explore the impact of resilience on flourishing by examining effect sizes through meta-analysis. Methods: This study analyzed seven selected studies conducted globally. The research topic was identified using the PICO framework, and a search strategy was employed to review quantitative studies published between 2008 and 2024 that examined the relationship between resilience and flourishing in the health context. A total of 3,172 studies were initially identified from seven databases, with a final selection of seven studies that met the inclusion criteria. Quality assessment and data extraction were conducted to ensure the validity of the studies. Result: The analysis revealed an effect size of 0.513 for the correlation between resilience and flourishing, indicating a moderately strong effect. However, the heterogeneity test suggested the presence of variability among the studies, highlighting the need for further exploration of the validity and interpretability of the meta-analysis. Nevertheless, resilience was found to have a significant positive relationship with flourishing within the context of health.
